As days sneak on unsuspected mind
Galloping faster then one wanted
You start to recognize important things
Sorting the superficiality to rubbish

In the end what left is the small portion
The older you get the less you need to get by
The meaning of what thought before essential
Appearing meaningless in light of the experience
The silly stuff you cared now making chuckle

I wish, i wish, the wishful thinking paying visit
Stop the regrets , the useless waste of time
What was will not comeback , you have to get by
The people left, the people traveled far away
The youngster running through strawberry fields
Counting the waves with the pendulum precision licking shore
Gone , everything is yellow , crumbling pages
You see the relevance , love, kindness, the companionship
The laughter, ability to walk and do things for yourself
The rest is irrelevant , collecting dust in corner
