The corrugation of the shell
Caressed by the pantomime of waves
Licked by half kisses on the quiet day
Vigorously sucked in the salty euphoria in the storm
Thrown on the shore, it glistening amidst the sandy powder
Resembling dinosaur's antiquated shield of armor
The temporary home for few lost mollusks
The shady spot for overheated birds

The tempestuous lover , sea made a gift
Divorcing from old love affair, gift to anyone who'll find it
Attracted to the lonely work of nature, so out of place
Bringing home, settling between the books and magazines
Dreamily studying from afar , imagining exotic destinations
Listening to song of sea brazenly addressing herself
The song of whales and the dolphins , navigating far and wide
Then putting back on shelf and stare, mesmerized by creation
