The wind on the water

The wind on water
Ripples multiplying echo
The boat quiet lullaby caress
Your gaze resting on my bare legs
The introduction to encounter none of us will brush away
Ignored oars laying in dormant
The book on my knees begging for attention
Procrastinating hand scratching the boat surface
Your eyes lighting a candle on my bare legs
It's getting chilly
The duskiness flattening landscape
The jumping fish startle amorous disposition
Your hands propelled closer to my bare legs
Putting the fire to the innards
Suddenly everything stopped
No wind,no ripples, the stars inaugurated sky
Witnessing the tangled skein of bodies
So innocently started day , well tanned bare legs, book and nature
Ended up with the romantic interlude
by Margaret Gudkov
Bleeding Heart's photo.
