The breathless summer air

The breathless summer air
Full of the fragrant desire
The hammock beckoning to lay
Committing the procrastination crime
Oblomov's shadow looming over sleepy eyes
Grotesque, surrealistic figure leading to the corridors of nowhere
I cannot resist temptation
Following him to the half dream , half real life
The monsters hidden deep in walls before, afraid to acknowledge
Now staring at me with cold protruding eyes of truth
We all have skeletons in closet, mine coming out now
Putting the heavy burden on fragile shoulders
I saunter through arteries of heart
Sometimes encountering dark corners
Admitting not the obvious mistakes.. so hard
Yet sometimes you have to bite the bullet
The sunlight flashed forcefully on body
Demanding me to open eyes and see
Was it a dream of voyage through the mind
Or the conscience spoke of latent guilt
In any case I am not sure of either
The air , breathless summer air might of play the role, etching mirages
